Customized CBN Grinding Head

Description

Electroplated CBN (cubic boron nitride) grinding head is a precision grinding tool that uses electroplating process to fix CBN abrasive grains on the surface of metal substrate. It has high hardness, high wear resistance and excellent thermal stability. It is suitable for processing hard and brittle materials such as cemented carbide, ceramics, glass and high hardness steel.

Product Features

High hardness: CBN hardness is second only to diamond, suitable for processing hard materials above HRC45.

Thermal stability: High temperature resistance (up to 1400°C), not easy to react with iron metals at high temperatures (better than diamond).

Precision machining: The electroplating process can achieve high-precision abrasive arrangement, suitable for complex surfaces (such as inner holes, threads, gears, etc.).

No need for dressing: The electroplating layer directly fixes the abrasive, and no dressing is required like sintered abrasives.
